About Yoga Nidra Practice

Like the original teachings of yoga philosophy were diluted in recent years, Yoga Nidra, also known as "deep sleep" is now used to apply to almost any form of yoga related relaxation journey. The original practice, however, goes much further and involves three levels of consciousness. While Yoga Nidra is a state of calm and happiness, is also the method used by the ancient mystics for purification and the exploration of karmic patterns.
What are the three levels of consciousness?
• The dream state is conscious and refers to the physical body, or what is experienced by the five senses.
• The state of sleep is unconscious and in the fields of subtle energy body or astral body. The astral body is connected to the physical body with the causal body.
• Sleep is unconscious and relates to the causal body - the state in which reality can be changed and karma are stored.
These three phases are followed by a state of pure consciousness.
What is Yoga Nidra different from meditation?
In a regular meditation, the mind remains awake and come up with ideas, feelings, images and feelings gently through the conscience. Yoga Nidra, on the other hand, is a state of sleep yoga where the mind leaves the first stage of meditation, a dream state and experience of deep sleep, but that is still awake.
What is Yoga Nidra?
• First, it is important to remember that Yoga Nidra is a process or a style of meditation. It is to be, and does not belong to any particular group or practice.
• Nidra into account access at a subconscious level and in the thinking part of the mind. He opens the door wide causality, the scene changes occur in reality.
• This technique is more important than other types of meditation. By contrast, working with meditation to awaken the conscience.
• Yoga Nidra is not guided imagery, as there is no image in mind. It is also different from not dreaming stage of sleep.
• Nidra not statements or music, because the mind must be free of thoughts. However, the music, images and statements can be one of the techniques used in the way of reaching Nidra.
Universal concept, where the ancient history of Yoga Nidra is simply a "flight" an open mind to a higher consciousness. Although there are many roads and a wide range of travel, there is only one destination - a deep sleep, which opens the way to enlightenment.
